“Ivory on Canvas”

Congratulations to Lucas and Friends for performing an incredible benefit concert supporting Expanding Lives, an organization that works with local partners in Niger and Benin to empower young women’s leadership while providing school supplies, tutoring, mentorship and entrepreneurship for marginalized girls and women of Expanding Lives. Lucas’ artistic solo piano performance of Karim Kamar’s works set the tone for the concert which also included improvised melodies with fellow musicians. The concert also featured artists from around the world  highlighting how music and art reflect our shared global connections.

This concert raised enough funds to help 14 girls this Fall! Thank you Lucas and friends for your contributions to your community!
