At Home Expectations
A tuned and maintained acoustic piano is required for success in the study of piano. Please ensure that the piano is in a clean and quiet place and the lighting is adequate for note reading. A metronome is also required in your home studio.
Recitals and Workshops
Performance is the part of learning experience. Every student is expected to perform in two formal piano recitals.
An informal workshop for students is given periodically and attendance is required.
Missed Lessons
Advanced notice is appreciated for missed lessons. Please contact the studio and a make up lesson will be scheduled depending on availability.
Lesson Materials
All students are required to bring their piano books, an assignment book, a 3 ring binder and manuscript paper to every lesson. Having a dedicated piano bag helps keep these materials organized and easy to transport to lessons.
